Macintyre Wind Farm
With a total investment of AU$1.96 billion, the 1,026MW MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct will be Acciona’s biggest renewable energy facility and one of the largest onshore wind farms in the world, with 180 Wind Turbines. Developed in partnership with CleanCo, the Queensland Government’s newest renewable energy generator, the wind farm is expected to be operational in 2024.
OzWind Founder and Managing Director was appointed as the Project Manager for Professional Wind Services, who were awarded the Full Assembly work package under Head Contractor BMS Heavy Cranes. The project consists of three main cranes and three M&E Completions teams. Adam was involved in the initiation and planning phases, before going on to launch OzWind.
